This is an issue of the foremost rarity and importance. It contains the earliest 'creator' performance on record. Lassalle (1847-1909) originated the role in 1877 and recorded it here in Paris in 1902. Some of these cylinders were later issued on Pathe etched-label discs- this is one that was not.
